核桃壳基干式介质对圆柱滚子离心超精滚抛效果的影响

The influence of dry media based on walnut shell in the centrifugal super finishing for cylindrical roller

摘要: 为研究离心式超精滚抛过程中干式介质对GCr15圆柱滚子加工后表面质量的影响,采用核桃壳、核桃壳+润滑膏、核桃壳+氧化铬粉及核桃壳+氧化铬抛光膏4种不同的干式介质对GCr15圆柱滚子进行超精滚抛试验,分析其对表面粗糙度、金属去除率、表面轮廓及表面形貌的影响,并揭示其加工机制。试验结果表明,核桃壳+氧化铬抛光膏的滚抛性能优于其余3种干式介质,经核桃壳+氧化铬抛光膏加工后的圆柱滚子外径表面粗糙度Ra值由0.106 μm降至0.015 μm,端面表面粗糙度Ra值由0.147 μm降至0.025 μm;此时金属去除率最高且表面轮廓显著改善,表面超精研加工原始形貌完全去除,这是由于滚抛过程中氧化铬粉提高了对金属的切削作用,且润滑膏提高了核桃壳与氧化铬粉间的吸附作用,更好地对圆柱滚子表面进行微量磨削,进一步提高加工效果,改善表面质量。

Abstract: To investigate the effect of dry medium on the surface quality of GCr15 cylindrical rollers after centrifugal super finishing,super finishing experiments were conducted on GCr15 cylindrical rollers, using four different dry medias: walnut shell,walnut shell + lubricating paste,walnut shell + chromium oxide powder and walnut shell + chromium oxide polishing paste,to analyze their effects on surface roughness,metal removal rate,surface profile and surface morphology,and to reveal their processing mechanism. The experiment results show that the rolling and polishing performance of walnut shell + chromium oxide polishing paste is better than that of the other three dry medias. After processing with walnut shell + chromium oxide polishing paste,the surface roughness Ra of the outer diameter of the cylindrical roller is reduced from 0.106 μm to 0.015 μm,and the surface roughness Ra of the end face is reduced from 0.147 μm to 0.025 μm. At this point,the metal removal rate is the highest and the surface profile is significantly improved. The original morphology of the surface super finishing process is completely removed. This is due to the enhanced cutting effect of chromium oxide powder on metal during the rolling and polishing process,and the improved adsorption between walnut shell and chromium oxide powder by the lubricating paste,which better performs micro-grinding on the surface of the cylindrical roller,further enhancing the processing effect and improving the surface quality.
