Research and development of automotive structure lightweight

Abstract: Lightweighting of automotive structure is an effective method for emissions reduction and energy conservation with significance for improving energy and environment problems.First,summarizes the main methods of automotive structure lightweight that includes size optimization,shape optimization,topological optimization and multidisciplinary multiobjective optimization;then introduces some commonly used optimization algorithm of automotive structure lightweight:genetic algorithm,neural network method,micro particle swarm algorithm and so on;henanalyzies the main technical difficulties of structural lightweight design;finally states the development trend of vehicle structural lightweight.
