Simulation and optimization of the crankshaft production line based on “One-Piece Flow” cell production mode

Abstract: According to the characteristics of air compressor crankshaft machining workshop,“One-Piece Flow” cell production mode and Flexsim simulation were adopted to solve the production line layout problem.The original layout of workshop of the simulation model is established by Flexsim,found unreasonable phenomenon and proposed improvement strategy.Then combining the “One-Piece Flow” cell production mode,determine the optimal facility layout scheme.Example analysis shows:the combined “One-Piece Flow” cell production mode and Flexsim simulation can reduces the stock of semi-manufactured goods and improves production efficiency.
