The random vibration fatigue FEA analysis and optimization for body control module bracket

Abstract: The Body Control Module (BCM) is an important part of the car,the design of BCM bracket should meet fatigue life requirements under random changeable conditions as vehicle driving.The 3D modal was created by Catia and the finite elements were meshed by Hypermesh,so that the reasonable Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modal has been established for analysis.The results verified that the random vibration FEA fatigue analysis is necessity and validity for BCM bracket.Finally,the BCM bracket has been optimized,and the random vibration FEA fatigue of the optimized bracket has been analyzed.
