Studied with calculation and experiment about effect of air spring parameters on static stiffness properties

Abstract: The vertical static stiffness problem of vehicle suspension air spring finite element model has been established,and the nonlinearity of geometry and state,the material,as well as the air-solid coupling,are all analyzed theoretically.The vertical static models characteristics are analyzed which is powerful in nonlinearity.The analysis results show that the simulation model validated through comparing with experimental data.Parameters influencing static vertical stiffness of the spring such as pressure,cord angle,distance between cord as well as layers of the fiber layer are analyzed.The proposed modelling and analysis methods in the guidance of the air spring prototype design were proposed.
