TC4钛合金表面纳米级磁力研磨的实验研究*

Experimental study on nanoscale magnetic abrasive finishing of TC4 titanium alloy surface

摘要: 为实现TC4钛合金表面的高效光整,提出了双磁极磁力研磨(DMAF)法。首先,设计了9种不同的磁极组合,并利用ANSYS Maxwell有限元软件对其分别进行磁力线分布与磁感应强度的模拟仿真,基于仿真结果,确定最佳的磁极组合;然后,通过主要单因素的对比实验,优化多阶段的双磁极磁力研磨的加工参数;最后,得到3个抛光阶段的磨料组合,依次为#100电解铁粉+#2000白刚玉、#200电解铁粉+#8000白刚玉和#450电解铁粉+#w1金刚石,磁极间隙为5 mm,磁极主轴转速为300 r/min,磨料质量比为2∶1。实验结果表明:采用多阶段的双磁极磁力研磨法对TC4工件进行30 min抛光后,其表面的平均表面粗糙度Sa从最初的0.442 μm降至8 nm,并且抛光区域已基本实现纳米级镜面抛光效果。

Abstract: Dual-pole Magnetic Abrasive Finishing (DMAF) method has been proposed for achieving a smooth surface on TC4 titanium alloy. Initially,9 different combinations of magnetic poles were designed,and ANSYS Maxwell finite element software was used to simulate the distribution of magnetic field lines and magnetic induction intensity. Based on the results of the simulation,the best magnetic pole combination was determined. The processing parameters of multi-stage DMAF were optimized through comparative experiments of major single factors. Finally,the abrasive combinations for the three polishing stages were obtained as follows: #100 electrolytic iron powder +#2000 white corundum,#200 electrolytic iron powder +#8000 white corundum,and #450 electrolytic iron powder +#w1 diamond;the magnetic pole gap is 5 mm,the speed of magnetic pole spindle is 300 r/min,and the abrasive mass ratio is 2∶1. It is indicated in the experiment that after 30 minutes of polishing on TC4 titanium plates using the multi-stage DMAF,the average surface roughness Sa was reduced from the initial 0.442 μm to 8 nm,and a nano-level mirror polishing effect has been essentially achieved in the polishing area.
