直流磁场处理的硬质合金刀片铣削7050铝合金的切削性能研究*

Study on the cutting performance of cemented carbide insert milling 7050 aluminum alloy with DC magnetic field treatment

摘要: 7050铝合金作为一种高强度材料,在铣削过程中存在工件材料在刀具上黏附导致工件表面质量降低、刀具磨损加剧等问题。为了改善刀片的切削性能,提出了一种用直流磁场处理硬质合金刀片以增加其显微硬度的方法。为了研究磁化硬质合金刀片加工铝合金的切削性能,设计了无涂层硬质合金刀片的磁化正交试验,使用直流磁场处理硬质合金刀片并用其铣削7050铝合金工件。研究结果表明,磁处理后的刀片显微硬度得到了提高,铣削后的工件表面质量也获得了改善;相比未经磁处理的刀片,处理后的刀片前刀面磨损面积和后刀面磨损带宽度有增有减,但在适当的磁场参数(磁场强度为0.5 T,磁化时间为40 s,磁场角度为0°)下,硬质合金刀片的显微硬度提高了5.74 %,工件表面粗糙度降低了40 %,前刀面磨损面积和后刀面磨损带宽度分别降低了3.44 %和35.67 %。

Abstract: As a high-strength material,7050 aluminum alloy has problems such as workpiece materials adhesion on the tool during the milling process,resulting in lowering the surface quality of the workpiece and intensifying tool wear. In order to improve the cutting performance of the insert,a method was proposed to treat a cemented carbide insert with a DC magnetic field to increase its micro-hardness. In order to study the cutting performance of magnetized cemented carbide inserts for processing aluminum alloys,a magnetization orthogonal test of uncoated cemented carbide inserts was designed,and the cemented carbide inserts were treated with DC magnetic fields and milled with them. The research results show that the micro-hardness of the insert after magnetic treatment has been improved,and the surface quality of the workpiece is improved after milling. Compared with the untreated insert,the wear area of the front cutting surface and the wear band width of the rear cutting surface of the insert after treatment have increased and decreased. However,under the appropriate magnetic field parameters (magnetic field strength of 0.5 T,magnetization time of 40 s,magnetic field angle of 0°),the micro-hardness of the cemented carbide insert has been improved by 5.74 %,the surface roughness of the workpiece is reduced by 40 %,and the wear area of the front cutting surface and the wear band width of the rear cutting surface are reduced by 3.44 % and 35.67 % respectively.
