Study of the influence of inclined strut on seismic performance of cabinet based on Hyperworks

Abstract: In order to improve the seismic performance of tel-communications cabinets,comprehensive consideration of economic factors and ease,the inclined strut was added to cabinets.Pro/E software was used to found the cabinet modal and Hyperworks simulation analysis was carried out on a standard 19 inch tel-communications cabinets,simulating the adding mode and locating place of inclined strut on seismic performance of cabinets.Experimental results show that,under the condition of without affecting communications equipment installation,if the inclined strut is certain,so welding better than bolt connection,long brace connect to the hight of cabinets better than the short brace for improve the seismic performance of cabinet.
