Research and application of force and stability monitoring system of hydraulic gantry crane

Abstract: A monitoring system for predicting the force and stability of a hydraulic gantry crane has been proposed.A finite element model of the crane structure lifting unit was established based on actual parameters to analyze the stress distribution of the crane′s relevant structures under various operating conditions.The data obtained from the finite element analysis was used to train a BP neural network prediction model,which was then combined with measurement data to quickly assess the stress distribution of the crane′s relevant structures in any given state.The feasibility of the system was verified through experiments,and the safety monitoring capability of the hydraulic gantry crane was improved.
