Reliability-based sensitivity analysis of the capstan with arbitrary distribution parameters

Abstract: Numerical method for reliability sensitivity design is presented based on fourth moment technique,and the reliability sensitivity of the capstan in track-laying vehicle with non-normal random parameters is extensively discussed.The variation regularities of reliability sensitivity are obtained and the effects of design parameters on reliability of the capstan in track-laying vehicle are studied.The method presented provides the theoretic basis for the reliability design of the capstan in track-laying vehicle,the production can be very useful if it extended to correlated area of machine sensitivity design.
