Abstract: In order to enhance the minority carrier lifetime of green energy polycrystalline silicon, according to the production process of the influence factors of MCI, six Sigma was introduced;quality improvement scheme was put forward and then implement by DMAIC analysis process. Finally got satisfied results:MCI increased from 3.69μs to 4.16μs.what`s more, process capacity indicates enhanced from 0.66 to 1.09, The empirical research show that six Sigma method which was successful improved the minority carrier lifetime of silicon material, but also the expect goal was achieved and significantly economic benefits were produced.

Key words: green energy, six Sigma, DMAIC, polycrystalline silicon, quality improvement
