Research of user-oriented interactive post-processing technology

Abstract: In view of the fact that the current CAM postprocessor cannot handle the user’s personalized needs, the framework based on the SIEMENS NX software platforms was established to classify post-processing events and to extract graphical user interfaces for user requirements and to implement user-defined event handlers in TCL language.Experimental results showed that by interactive post-processing technology the personalized demand such as custom machine movement and selection of technological parameters was realized, the adaptability of the postprocessor for programming operation and the efficiency and quality of programming were improved.
