Research on the grinding force of high speed grinding 30CrNiMo8 steel

Abstract: 30CrNiMo8 steel is the typical material which is difficult to manufacture in the all materials.During processing,grinding force is great and grinding wheel breakage is serious,which have a great impact to the production.Aimed at grinding force of 30CrNiMo8,got the empirical formula of grinding force which is suitable for the conditions of the test by a linear regression analysis on the data from orthogonal test.According to the characteristics of the grinding wheel topography model,a reasonable mathematical model of grinding wheel is established.The grinding mechanism and the contact arc length are analyzed.According to the analysis,the precondition of the simulation is made and the condition of the grinding experiment is made.The change law of the grinding force are obtained.The experimental data and the simulation data were compared with the experimental data,and the grinding force experience formula of 30CrNiMo8 steel was obtained.
