Abstract: In view of the shortcomings of the traditional manual operation way of material management and the insufficiency of the existing C/S structure information system,a set of material management information system based on B/S structure has been developed for a certain automobile manufacturer in Guangxi after relevant research and analysis have been done about its material management condition.The technology of ASP.NET,the concept of object-oriented and the UML static modeling mechanism have been applied combined with the enterprise’s basic process of material management to the development of this information system.The application of the system has improved the level of enterprise information management and achieved the goal of material management with high accuracy,efficiency,and economy.
