Research on WIP optimization of mechanical dibbler assembly line

Abstract: A multi-node control scheme was proposed to optimize the Work In Process(WIP)on mechanical dibbler assembly line.Theory Of Constraint(TOC)was combined with the production modes of push and pull to divide assembly line into segments first.Next,bottleneck buffer,parallel buffer and risk buffer were seted up in the subsection node.Then calculated the optimal capacity of the buffer according to the duration of the station failure and the material consumption rate,obtained the optimization scheme of multi-node control of WIP in mechanical dibbler assembly line.Finally,FlexSim was used to simulate the mechanical dibbler assembly system of an enterprise,verified the feasibility of the scheme.
