Research on decision of automobile final assembly logistics mode for set parts supply system

Abstract: Set Parts Supply (SPS) system,the efficient way to reduce storage beside assembly line,make the logistics smoothly,and increase production efficiency.Two different logistics modes are defined and the costing model of them are constructed and analyzed.Trends of minimum logistics cost of certain parts in different modes are obtained and relations between consumption and logistics cost were shown by case study.The research can help choosing appropriate supply model for different parts,and making the set parts supply system working much better.
