Research of extrusion grinding technology on improving the flow characteristics of needle valve body and nozzle surface quality

Abstract: Needle valve flow coefficient and spray hole surface quality have important influences on engine fuel power performance and emission.Researches the extrude honing parameters on the nozzle surface quality and the influence law of flow characteristics.The effect of abrasive grain material,particle size and concentration on the processing effect was studied.Then the design experiment was carried out to study the effect of extrusion grinding pressure and time parameters on the processing effect.The results show that increasing the pressure and time within a certain range can improve the surface mass and the flow rate increase rate.
