A study on the control strategy for range-extender in extended-range electric vehicle

Abstract: In view of the problem of the energy distribution in extended-range electric vehicle,improving driving distance is designed as an assignment by proposed the multiple operation points control strategy at the condition of opening air conditioner/ heater.Using Particle Swarm Optimize(PSO) multiple best points of engine,optimization about multiple points strategy is verified though simulation by Matlab/Simulink and Advisor in NEDC.The result of test shows that the control strategy which fulfilled the designing requirement can improve the driving distance after optimization,and can improve the efficiency of energy under comparing to three points strategy which ignored air conditioner/heater.
