3D-object reconstruction and point cloud sculpture based on Kinect

Abstract: 3D-object reconstruction is an important part of computer vision research,it is widely used in virtual reality.The microsoft company released a 3D somatosensory camera named Kinect in 2009,making get RGB and depth information cheaper and faster.The rotation principle of spatial coordinate system and real-time 3D-object reconstruction based on Visual Studio 2010 and 3D point cloud sculpture with RGB information is described.Finally,the experiment results show that this method can effectively get RGB and 3D information,and can print out 3D models by laser sculpture machine.
