Abstract: As a major part in the quartz flexible accelerometer, coil is always thin-walled and precise.Especially for the coil made of beryllium, the abnormal hole is relatively difficult to be milled because of its low rigidity.Great deformation and even fracture are regularly happening in the machining of beryllium coil.Through the Finite Element Method (FEM) and experiments, the deformation law under auxiliary supporting is achieved. With this technic, great deformation and fracture are effectually controlled and high quality manufactures are brought out.It is significative for improving the precision and stability of the quartz flexible accelerometer.

Key words: thin-walled beryllium coil, abnormal hole, FEM, auxiliary supporting
