Analysis on the vibratory fatigue of gantry type plastic film recovery machine rack

Abstract: Targeting at environment and soil pollution issue caused by the plastic film residues after seedling stage crop harvest,propose a seedling stage mulching film recycler.To prevent the damage from resonance in the operating process,construct a rack three-dimension model based on Solidworks,use ANSYS for modal analysis and calculate the frequency of each drive.Compare the inherent of the model.Use finite element analysis method,combine rack material S-N curve theory to make fatigue analysis on the rack.Research result shows that,the deformation of the rack after adding vibration damping plate has decreased for 83 %,the fatigue life of the rack is 1.131 4×106 times,larger than 1×106 times,able to satisfy the requirement of rack’s fatigue life.Through exerting random load to the rack,based on damage formula,work out that the estimated fatigue life of the rack will be 7.3 years.
