Analysis of influencing factors on the magnesium alloy bar of the hydrostatic extrusion of the porous die

Abstract: The hydrostatic extrusion process of magnesium alloy bars with two hole,three hole and four hole die was analyzed by DEFORM-3D finite element software.The stiffness and strength of the porous die were analyzed through the MSC.MARC software.On this basis,the influence of the structure design of the four hole die on the forming process was analyzed.Combined with orthogonal test,the influence of the location of die hole,die type,calibrating strap lengths and die temperature on the extrusion force and the uniformity of flow velocity of the outlet were analyzed.The selection of a better structure design method to realize the forming of the porous die bar was analyzed.
