Abstract: An off-road vehicle model with active suspension system was developed in ADAMS platform.A fuzzy-PID control strategy was designed to limit the vertical and roll acceleration of the vehicle body.Based on the ADAMS and Matlab/Simulink co-simulation analysis, the results show that the active suspension with the fuzzy-PID controller could improved the ride performance of the vehicle, as well as preserve the roll stability.
