Experiments on transmission efficiency of electric shifting actuator

Abstract: Through the construction of the electric shifting actuator drive efficiency test bench,the average transmission efficiency of the electric shifting actuator is respectively tested in two working conditions of fixed time-variable load and variable time-constant load.Through the analysis of the experimental results of average efficiency of the worm transmission,the gear sector transmission and the whole transmission efficiency under two working conditions,found that the average transmission efficiency of worm transmission and overall transmission are low,and the gear sector of transmission efficiency is high;the torque has a great impact on the average transmission efficiency which increases with the torque increasing,but the speed has little effect on the average transmission efficiency.
