Study on electrolyte based on electrochemical characteristics of Monel alloy

Abstract: As a kind of nickel-copper alloy,Monel has been widely used in aviation and space industries,and Electrochemical Machining(ECM) has unique advantages in porous structures machining of this high-temperature alloy because of its excellent properties.In order to improve the accuracy and stability of ECM,studies about electrolyte have been paid increasing attention.Trough the test of potentiodynamic polarization curves of Monel material,the composition and the proportion of the electrolyte are chosen by analyzing the polarization curves.Then validates experimentally on the effect of the complex reagent to enhance the machining precision and stability of ECM.
