Abstract: Vehicle Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system is a part of vehicle active safety. It can improve vehicle’s ability to deal with potential collision risk during vehicle driving. If a potential safety hazard appears in front of the vehicle, the system will assist the driver to brake in order to avoid the collision accident when the driver does not take the brake measures or the pressure of the brake wheel is too small to avoid the collision. In order to stop the vehicle,a fixed main cylinder pressure is often used to slow down the vehicle now,the safety of the car is not guaranteed when the pressure is too small;and the braking pressure sharp rising will greatly reduce the ride comfort when the brake pressure is too large. In order to improve the driving comfort of the Autonomous Emergency Braking system under the premise of ensuring the safety of the vehicle brake, analyzes the working process of the Autonomous Emergency Braking system of the vehicle, and proposes the fuzzy control strategy. The strategy take the safe driving distance of the two vehicles as control goal, the relative speed and distance of the two-vehicle are inputs, and the master cylinder brake pressure is the output. In this regard,an emergency braking system model is established in the form of joint simulation between Simulink software and Carsim software, and the safety of emergency braking system and the comfort of automobile emergency braking are simulated and analyzed. The results show that the Automobile Emergency Braking (AEB) system under the fuzzy control can improve the ride comfort when the braking while ensure the safety of the vehicle.
