Research of gear fault diagnosis based on the single channelblind source separation

Abstract: A new method is proposed to solve the difficult problem of single-channel mechanical signal separation.It can realize the fault signal separation by constructing a virtual channel,and can overcome the limitation of channel numbers.The separation performance was analyzed from the theory and simulation.Finally the method was applied to gearbox fault diagnosis and the result shows that it is effective.
