Simulation analysis and optimization design of the steering mechanism of the multi-axis trackless buggy ladle

Abstract: The steering movement characteristic of buggy ladle was analysed,and the formula of rotation angles for each wheel as buggy ladle turned were derived based on the theory of vehicle steering.The minimum error between practical and theoretical rotation angle was treated as optimization objective,then the optimization mathematical model of steering mechanism of multi-axis vehicle was established.The typical steering mechanism of six-axis buggy ladle was analysed using simulation and optimization software,and the results showed that the coordination of wheel group was improved greatly after optimizing although that has problems before optimizing.
