Micro electrochemical machining for difficult-to-cut high elastic alloy

Abstract: Micro parts and components of high elastic alloy are widely used in industries of aeronautics and astronautics,precision devices and so on.To solve the problem that these parts and components are difficult to machine with traditional machining methods,nanosecond-pulse micro electrochemical milling machining technology was applied to machine micro parts of high elastic alloy.Firstly the principle and set-up of micro electrochemical milling machining technology were introduced.Then an online-making method for micro electrodes and effects of main process parameters on machining precision were studied.Two typical micro parts were successfully machined with this technology.Experiment results show that micro parts of high elastic material can be machined with nanosecond-pulse micro electrochemical milling machining technology,and these parts are of good quality.
